Parson's Alley 2021

The Duluth Fall Festival provides continuous entertainment during the two days of the Festival at two venues. During the weekend more than 20 acts will perform a variety of music and dance. The Festival Center Stage hosts bands and dance acts, while the Parsons Alley stage hosts smaller bands and acoustic music in an intimate setting. Throughout the Festival, you may run into street performers, such as puppeteers or our Festival scarecrow mascot.

Entertainers are not paid to perform at the Duluth Fall Festival.

Steve McElroy - A twenty year Duluth resident, Steve McElroy is a 12-String guitarist playing the favorites from the folk-rock era.

Blackfoot Daisy - Acoustic trio, all multi-instrumentalists, playing a variety of original and cover songs.
3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Phil Griffin Duo - Duo act, bringing a full band feel. Performing music from over the decades: 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00's.
4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.

Surly Trolls - Bluegrass/Americana band performing a variety of original music as well as traditional tunes and some unexpected Bluegrass versions of artists like Talking Heads, Rolling Stones, and Prince.

The Bea Arthurs - Formed in 2018 out of their love for rock music and the Golden Girls, Influenced by bands from The Stooges to Nirvana to Rancid, the Bea Arthurs have entertained crowds across the southeast.

Yao Lu and Xiaodan Chen - Yao and her friend Xiaodan Chen are cultivating a new generation of performing music on traditional East Asian instruments. The group is excited to explore not only traditional music but new folk compositions.

Stone Mountain Chorus - Stone Mountain Chorus is the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. A community chorus, its mission is devoted to music education and enjoyment, while promoting the barbershop style of a cappella singing.

Come see local schools—elementary through high school with different activities, fire trucks, antique cars, local dignitaries, boy scouts, girl scouts, dance classes, sponsors, and clowns! The parade begins Saturday at 10:00 am. Streets close by 9:45 am so come early.-->

Fall Festival Opening Ceremony

Immediately after the Parade, join us at the Festival Center Amphitheater for the Opening Ceremony. The Parade Grand Marshal and Honorary Grand Marshal, and other local dignitaries, will be honored. -->

Donut Dash 5K Race

October 1, 2023
The race goes throughout the streets of Duluth and ends at the Duluth Festival Center.
Dunkin Donuts Corporate is one of the sponsors! Receive a long-sleeved t-shirt at the end of the race. Race proceeds go to Wellroot Family Services.

Worship on the Green

October 1, 2023
Make plans to join us for “Worship on the Town Green” on Sunday morning with a community worship service beginning at 10 a.m. at the Duluth Town Green. This service will be led by staff, musicians and members of Duluth First United Methodist Church.-->
