General Store and Decorations Auction

The Fall Festival General Store is your Festival merchandise headquarters. In the General Store, you will find Festival T-Shirts (from previous years), and an array of fall decorations. A collection of Festival tabloids provide an amazing look at the history of the Festival as well as Duluth.

The General Store is centrally located on Main Street near the flagpole.

Auction of Decorations: At 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, the General Store hosts an auction of the mums and pumpkins used to decorate the Festival.

Festival Carnival

September 26-29
The Duluth Fall Festival Carnival returns this year to host a full-fledged carnival, with a variety of rides and games. Be sure to take a ride on the Ferris wheel, where you can get a bird’s eye view of the continually changing Duluth skyline.

Festival Parade

September 28
Come see local schools—elementary through high school with different activities, fire trucks, antique cars, local dignitaries, boy scouts, girl scouts, dance classes, sponsors, and clowns! The parade begins Saturday at 10:00 am. Streets close by 9:45 am so come early.

Opening Ceremony

September 28
Immediately after the Parade, join us at the Festival Center Amphitheater for the Opening Ceremony. The Parade Grand Marshal and Honorary Grand Marshal, and other local dignitaries, will be honored.

Donut Dash 5K Race

September 29
Promptly at 8:00, the race starts with runners winding through historic Duluth. At the end of the race, participants receive a complimentary donut and coffee, courtesy of Dunkin Donuts on Buford Hwy, Duluth. The Festival also provides water and energy snacks.

Worship on the Green

September 29
Make plans to join us for “Worship on the Town Green” on Sunday morning with a community worship service beginning at 10 a.m. at the Duluth Town Green. This service will be led by staff, musicians and members of Duluth First United Methodist Church.
