To Duluth Fall Festival Attendees and Volunteers:
We are deeply sorry to inform you of our decision regarding this year’s Duluth Fall Festival. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we cannot in good faith move forward with this year’s Festival.
Our main concern is the health and safety of our guests, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, suppliers, and the community. This is incredibly sad for us, as we have not missed a single year in our 37-year history. However, we will have the Duluth Fall Festival next year and are already making plans to improve and expand it!
The Duluth Fall Festival has a 500+ all-volunteer staff. Our entire proceeds have been used to finance projects such as the Duluth Festival Center, Parsons Alley, the purchase of and the improvements in Taylor park, the Continental Divide Monument, Public Restrooms, parking lots, etc. In addition, we fund multiple concerts and other entertainment for Duluth. Our future projects include a Train Viewing Platform near the new library, the addition of permanent picnic tables and seating in Taylor Park and much more.
Even though we cannot host a physical festival this year we know that the spirit of the Duluth Fall Festival will continue to encourage the great sense of community that is Duluth!
We value your support and friendship, appreciate your past involvement, and look forward to having you with us again for the Duluth Fall Festival, September 25th and 26th 2021.
